Stray Horses
When contacted by law enforcement - Safe Haven will pick up stray horses. We will hold and care for them according to stray laws in Texas. Sometimes the owners cannot be located; when this happens Safe Haven will find a new loving family for the horse.
Macks was a stray we picked up in 2016. He was just a baby left all by himself. The Sheriff's Department tried to find his owners with no success. After the hold time expired Macks was turned over to Safe Haven where he grew into a people loving 2 year old. He now has a mommy that loves him dearly and a huge pasture to run in.
